Audi refreshed the A4 in 2009. Two model years later, the 2011 Audi A4 has experienced few changes. For 2011, Audi gives the A4 an eight-speed triptonic automatic transmission with manual shift control and shifts amenities on the Prestige trim. Acura Legend Top Cars

The Acura Legend, sold as the Honda Legend outside the U.S., Canada, and parts of China, was a sporty luxury vehicle sold from 1986 to 1995 as both a sedan and coupe. It was one of the first vehicles sold under the Acura nameplate, and was the flagship sedan under the Acura nameplate until being replaced in 1996 by the Acura RL (officially badged as the Acura 3.5RL). The 3.5RL was a rebadged version of the third generation Honda Legend.

bmw z9 fastest cars

The BMW Z9 is a concept coupe introduced in 1999 by BMW at the Frankfurt Auto Show. During the 2000 Paris Auto Show a convertible variant of the Z9 was debuted. It was designed by Chris Bangle, who was promoted to Director of BMW Group Design.

The Z9 featured a carbon fiber skin over an aluminum space frame. Much of the styling found on the current E63 6 series is derived from the Z9. The vehicle also featured unique gull wing doors that also opened like a conventional hinged door.

The Z9 did not make it into production, but many of its innovations did. The interior included an early concept of BMW's iDrive system, called the Intuitive Interaction Concept . The Z9 featured the world's first V8 turbo diesel for non-truck use, later produced for the BMW 7 Series 740d model.

The BMW Z1 was a two-seat roadster developed by BMW and produced from March 1989 to June 1991.[1] The Z1 featured doors which dropped down into the door sills. A total of 8,000 Z1 cars were produced.

History

The first example of a Z1 was released by BMW to the press in 1986 and later officially presented at the 1987 Frankfurt Motor Show. Initial demand was so fierce that BMW had 5,000 orders before production began. However, demand dropped significantly around 1988 and BMW ended production in 1991. There is speculation that the drop in demand was due to the early inflated demand from speculative investors. In 1988, however, BMW was quoted as saying that they had 35,000 orders for the Z1.

Bmw z6 Cars Concept

BMW already has begun conceptual design and early development work on the successor to the Z4 roadster, which is due to go into production in South Carolina in late 2009. An artist's conception is shown here.
The Z4's replacement may be dubbed Z6, according to European trade publications, and will use components from the BMW 3-Series and 1- Series families. BMW once again is expected to produce both convertible and hardtop variants of the two-seater, as well as high-performance M editions.
Inline six-cylinder engines will be upgraded, as will other major mechanical systems.
